M2K Demonstration Videos


Welcome to the M2K demonstration video page. The video is entitled, "M2K: Music to Knowledge -- A High Performance Computing Framework for Terascale Music Mining". The video was prepared as part of the M2K/IMIRSEL submission to the High Performance Computing Analytics Challenge at the SC | 05 conference (November 12-18, 2005).

About the video

The video was created using Camtasia Studio 2. The video is encoded as a Macromedia Flash file. There are two versions of the video. The content is identical but the files do differ with regard to screen size. The video runs 9m:20s.

Version I: 1024 X 768 screen size

This file provides the highest quality video experience. To properly view this version you should have your computer screen resolution set to something greater than 1280 X 1024. The file is 26 MBytes, so it is best viewed via a broadband connection.  View Version I: 1024 X 768 .

Version II: 800 X 600 screen size

This file provides a possibly more manageable video view area. To properly view this version you should have your computer screen resolution set to something greater than 1024 X 768. The file is 35 MBytes, so it is best viewed via a broadband connection. (yes, it is bigger than Version I for some unknown reason). View Version II: 800 X 600 .
