Finally, a web-accessible submission and execution system is to be provided for MIREX by the NEMA project (https://nema.lis.illinois.edu/). This system will allow user to very simply submit, configure, test, execute and debug their own submissions and to inspect or publish their results. As this system is still in its infancy it may (initially) only be available for selected tasks and participants at MIREX 2010. MIREX 2010 Deadline Dates

We have very tight scheduling constraints this year because of the early convening of ISMIR 2010 in Utrecht.

We have two sets of deadlines for submissions. We have to stagger the deadlines because of runtime and human evaluation considerations.


Tasks with a 25 June 2010 deadline:

  1. Audio Classification (Train/Test) Tasks
  2. Audio Music Similarity and Retrieval
  3. Symbolic Melodic Similarity

Tasks with a 2 July 2010 deadline:

  1. All remaining MIREX 2010 tasks.

Nota Bene: In the past we have been rather flexible about deadlines. This year, however, we simply do not have the time flexibility, sorry.
